About Amanda Astor
Amanda Astor is the founder of Amanda Jean NYC boutiques. She is a Senior Retail Executive with over a decade of experience running brands like Guess Inc, Diane Von Furstenberg, Vince Camuto, The Shoe Box and Adina Eden. She has been entrusted by the pioneers of the fashion industry to open over 70 brick & mortar stores for them throughout the world. This is the first store she opens for herself in the small town of Bay Ridge Brooklyn where she grew up.
She uses her extensive training and experience on buying, trends, fashion forecasting and retail in every aspect of the product selection for Amanda Jean NYC. Every single piece has a story behind it. The AJ NYC team travels around the country to fashion trade shows to find you the hottest styles, in the highest quality, at the best prices.
Throughout her career Amanda dedicated herself to the training and development of hundreds of young professionals empowering them to navigate the corporate world of fashion. She now prides herself on creating jobs in her neighborhood and leveraging her retail store as a safe space for women to gather, enjoy the latest fashions and celebrate life.
Her brick and mortar location at 8907 3rd ave Bayridge Brooklyn NY 11209 also has an enclosed outdoor space that can be rented out for private events to celebrate special milestones. Her biggest accomplishment is giving birth to her son, who is the motivation for her to chase her dreams--and inspire other women to do the same!!
